The Legal Board is responsible for ensuring compliance of institutional practices and policies with current legislation and other applicable rules, thus leading the preparation and implementation of plans and legal goals for the Institution. Other duties are:

• Direct, plan and control the activities of the areas subordinated to it
  
• Manage the Legal Department team
  
• Define policies, metrics and objectives, ensuring the achievement of the results established in the plans of the legal area and related areas
  
• Prepare reports and legal opinions
  
• Manage the realization, distribution and control of deadlines
  
• Analyze changes in legislation and their impacts on the company
